AP U.S. History Prep Camp!  90-minutes per day for 4 days! Get prepped and ready to start your school year strong! You will be introduced to the skills to be successful in AP U.S. History and AMSTED! These sessions can especially be helpful for those who did not take AP World History or AP European History last year but helpful for all students taking the class.
Topics that will be covered include:
1. Identify and explain historical developments and processes
2. Analyze sourcing and situation of primary and secondary sources
3. Analyze arguments in primary and secondary sources
4. Analyze the context of historical events, developments, or processes
5. Using historical reasoning processes (comparison, causation, continuity and change), analyze patterns and connections between and among historical developments and processes
6. Develop an argument
7. How to write an SAQ, LEQ, and DBQ
8. Test-taking strategies for stimulus-based tests
